I try to do my bit for Mother Earth and drive my husband crazy by collecting glass jars and plastic bottles. Eventually it gets out of hand and that’s when I need to visit the recycling depot.
Unfortunately, the nearest PET recycling place I could find was in Bergvliet. Luckily, @evnm heard me whingeing on Twitter and sent me this recycling info for the CBD:
Tamboerskloof Primary on Belle Ombre Road has a 24-hour drop-off depot for:
- white paper
- glass
- tins
- coloured paper & cardboard
- corrugated cardboard
There is a drop-off depot at Jan van Riebeek school in Kloof Street, which takes PET (plastic bottles).
Yours in environmental karma.
